We are looking for an experienced accommodation manager to oversee our accomodation operations.
This includes all aspects of ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of our accommodation offerings on Nusa Lembongan.
We have numerous properties on Nusa Lembongan, including our resort (23 rooms) and villas (8 villas) with more rooms and villas under construction.
The most important aspect of the role is to do whatever it takes to provide a great experience for our guests.
Your day is generally starts with a round of the main resort property to make sure everything is operating correctly.
Then doing the rounds of the restaurant to meet-and-greet any guests that you may not have met yet. This is usually a quick hi, introduce yourself, how is your room, what do you have planned?
From here the day is usually about spent in between the resort and our villas ensuring guests are happy, checking on the various teams, making sure house-keeping is done to an appropriate standard and on track with check-ins and check-outs, and generally checking that we are doing what is needed and that standards are adhered to keep the places running smoothly, and training so we constantly improve.
Tasks include overseeing a great check in and check out experience, ensuring guests are assisted with transport to and from the island, helping guests during their stay with organising and suggesting activities to make their experience memorable, and keeping our properties in immaculate condition.
You will be working closely with the Restaurant Manager (also Kitas role), who oversees the beach club and related food & beverage services within our business.
You also work closely with our Operations Manager (our most senior role for Indonesian citizens) who assists you and the Restaurant Manager in ensuring seamless operations.
You will be responsible for various departments and their functions including the booking and reservations function of the resort (the reception team), house-keeping, gardeners, maintenance & public area staff. The heads of these departments and team in each department report to you.
We are looking for an energetic, hands on, front of house and customer service driven person.
This is a great position for someone who likes to be busy, and deal with a team of staff and interact with guests daily.
We are very big on training to constantly improve our service delivery and guest experience.
You will need to run and coordinate training with our team weekly on house-keeping and cleaning, grooming and presentation, communication, check-in & check-out processes and sequence of service.
There is an administrative function to this role, which is generally rostering, checking on inventory, cost control and ensuring purchasing and receiving is operating smoothly.
Managing your time to ensure you are available to be hands-on at peak times is critical.
This role reports directly to the Australian owners of the business. You will be expected to be able to run the accommodation side of the business without daily oversight. The Australian owners of the business often spend their time abroad.
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role. May be in a different country.
English speaking & Bahasa
Experience working in a busy venue. Our venue operates 365 days a year, and the resort is open 24/7. The operation never sleeps. The successful applicant needs to be committed and able to keep up.
A desire to live on Nusa Lembongan. This is a full time position, working 5-days a week.
Prior experience living and working on a small tropical island well regarded.
